A LITTLE ABOUT GERI

With over two decades of experience in the field of Dialysis, including seven years in a managerial capacity, I discovered a true passion for developing learning materials. As an eLearning Developer, I channel this passion into creating customized blended learning experiences that empower companies to reach their performance objectives.

I'm characterized by a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in project management. Research and the crafting of immersive blended learning experiences are what truly ignite my enthusiasm. I took it upon myself to delve into the realm of instructional design, pursuing self-paced courses through platforms like Udemy, Tim Slade's eLearning Academy, and the IDOL Academy, where I contracted to build eLearning in Articulate Rise for IBM employees to get certified in VMWare. 

During my tenure in a managerial role, I collaborated closely with Technical Education in Dialysis, contributing to the creation of an Advanced Water Training program for Biomedical Technicians. Additionally, I dedicated my time as a volunteer to design engaging onboarding eLearning in Articulate Storyline for the non-profit organization, Beloved: Not Forgotten. I also extended my support by crafting promotional materials to raise awareness about the organization at local community events.

Before my career in eLearning, I proudly served as a US Navy Veteran, thriving in roles as an Aviation Electrician and an Aircrewman. I bring this same level of dedication and precision to every project.
